Construction begins on NM rail hub

LOVING, N.M. (KRQE) – A Texas company has started construction on a new rail hub to transport oil and gas in southeastern New Mexico.

The hub, near Loving, will help bring supplies in and take oil and gas out.

Rangeland Energy says crude oil marketers, refiners and producers have all lined up to pay them to use the hub.

Operations are expected to begin in October.

The hub will also bring new jobs to the area.
