Jet way collapses after Southwest airlines flight

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A scare for some Albuquerque passengers onboard a southwest airlines flight Tuesday.

The plane took off early this morning from Albuquerque, stopped in Phoenix bound for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

When passengers exited the plane onto the walkway terminal the jet way suddenly collapsed dropping six to eight feet.

Nobody was hurt.

Southwest Airlines said a mechanical failure caused the collapse.
