Heavy snow, tornadoes leave mark across U.S.

DENVER, COLO. (KRQE) – New Mexico is only part of the country being hit with some strange, unseasonable weather.

In Colorado, some parts were hit with more than 3 feet of snow.

Next door in Texas, heavy rain caused a lot of street flooding in and around Waco and San Antonio. That stranded a lot of drivers and even forced some people to have to be rescued.

There’s also a state of emergency in Nebraska after Sunday’s powerful storms spawned several tornadoes in the southeastern part of the state.
