Hard freeze warning issued for northern, central NM


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – According to the National Weather Service, areas in northern and central New Mexico could experience a hard freeze Tuesday night and Wednesday morning..

Few clouds and light winds may allow temperatures to drop as low as 28 or 29 degrees within a few hours, officials say.

The warning is in effect from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

This could affect Albuquerque, Santa Fe, the lower Chama River Valley, Estancia Valley and the northeast highlands.
