FBI makes arrest for murder on Acoma Pueblo

(ACOMA PUEBLO) KRQE – The FBI has arrested a man for a murder on the Acoma Pueblo.

Law enforcement officials say victim is 33-year old Edwin Hutchens had apparently been drinking with friends at a house Wednesday night when he became belligerent.

According to a criminal complaint Hutchens was then kicked out of the house and he broke a window. That’s when 22-year old Arthur Garcia allegedly beat Hutchens to death, using a 10 pound weight.

Garcia is charged with second degree murder.

According to Hutchens’ Facebook page he was a cashier at the “Dancing Eagle Casino” and he studied at SIPI, the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute.
