Zoo, Old Town celebrate mothers

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Some families chose to spend part of their Mother’s Day learning about animal mothers.

The BioPark featured activities where people learned about challenges mothers face in the wild.

Some mothers who were there said the trip to the zoo was mostly about enjoying good company.

Albuquerque’s Old Town was also jam-packed with families celebrating Mother’s Day.

The winds whipping through the plaza didn’t slow down entertainers.

Mothers got to take in a free concert and see professional dancers take stage.
