Health alert issued for blowing dust

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Due to high winds, a health alert has been issued for blowing dust in Albuquerque from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The Environmental Health Department’s Air Quality Program warns those with respiratory conditions to stay inside and keep windows and doors closed.

Those most likely to be affected by the dust are children, the elderly and people with asthma, chronic bronchitis and heart diseases.
