AFD responds to structure fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque firefighters responded to a structure fire at 252 Gene Avenue Northwest around 2:50 p.m. Sunday.

When crews arrived, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the structure’s roof. By 4 p.m., the fire was under control.

No one was injured, according to AFD.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Stay with KRQE for updates.
