Women accused of starting fight with teen

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A fight on a high school campus landed two women in jail accused of being there to rough up a teen girl.

One of the suspects is 41 years old.

According to a criminal complaint Deborah Bird and 27-year-old Renayia Gorman spent their lunch-time on the campus of Highland High School Thursday.

An officer says he saw Gorman throwing punches with a 17-year-old girl.

The complaint says Gorman was out to avenge a fight her little sister was just in.

But big sister ended up in jail and so did her friend now facing a child abuse charge.
