Firefighters respond to ABQ apartment fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Fire crews responded to a second Albuquerque apartment fire in as many days Saturday.

According to Albuquerque Fire Department heavy smoke could be seen when crews arrived to the scene in the 4700 block of Irving northeast at 12:46 p.m.

Crews were able to quickly control the fire and rescue the dogs of the family involved.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
