Woman attacks Roswell officer with shoe

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A Roswell woman was arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer with her shoe.

It all started when 54-year-old Larinda Lipscomb was involved in an accident.

When officers questioned her they say she gave a fake name and birth date and they believe she had been drinking.

During the booking process, she was able to slip out of the handcuffs, took off her shoes, and started hitting an officer with them.

Officers were able to get her into custody.

She’s charged with aggravated DWI, battery on a peace officer, and concealing her identity.
