A storm system passing to our north will usher in cooler air across the state on Thursday. Highs Thursday will be in the high 60’s with partly cloudy skies. There is a chance for a shower especially over northern sections. However, I would not expect much meaningful rain.
By Friday the chance for showers will be gone and temps will rebound into the high 70’s. The only area that will see strong winds will be the NE portion of the state where gusts could hit 40 mph. Over the weekend temps will continue to rise into the 80’s with breezy conditions.
There is a chance of another storm for early next week. But that system like many before it may well head north of the state.
