ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – U.S. Marshals and Albuquerque police have tracked down a man wanted in a murder for hire plot in Texas.
Adam Rico was arrested Wednesday at the Hampton Inn Motel on Coors and Illiff northwest.
Marshals say Rico, an accused meth dealer, plotted to assassinate a Lubbock lawman even setting the officers’ house on fire because he arrested Rico.
He’s being held on a $5 million bond at MDC until he’s extradited back to Texas.
