Judge upholds revoked charter for one ABQ school

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A judge has ruled the Department of Education was within its right to revoke the charter of an Albuquerque school.

The Public Education Department has twice taken action against the Learning Community Charter School because of issues with personnel, testing and failing to meet audit requirements.

The first attempt the school successfully appealed but it didn’t work the second.

The principal told KRQE News 13 back in August that the school would remain open through the school year but when News 13 called Tuesday, there was no answer.
