Deputies say suspicious man approached student

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputies are asking parents to keep an eye out for a suspicious vehicle and man who approached a student Tuesday morning.

It happened on South 14 in Chilili while the student was waiting for the bus.

Officials say the man approached the student then turned around.

He’s estimated to be in his 30s with gray hair wearing a cap. He was driving a small extended cap pick up – possibly a Toyota two-door – that was a faded or sky blue color.

The truck was an older model.
