Viewing planned for former Garcia's Kitchen owner

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The owner and founder of Albuquerque’s Garcia’s Kitchen died April 18.

On Monday, the public will have a chance to say goodbye at a viewing.

Andrew Garcia started selling novelties at the New Mexico State Fair. In 1975, he opened the first Garcia’s Kitchen, and now there are eight.

The viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at Sagebrush Church at 6440 Coors Boulevard Northwest, between Montaño and Paseo del Norte.
