SF residents continue to decrease water use

SANTA FE (KRQE) – People in Santa Fe have been doing a good job of conserving water.

The city says customers have decreased water use from an average of 106 gallons a day to 101 gallons a day. That’s an overall decrease of 5 percent.

The city began a Lead by Example water conservation program in 1997, which has resulted in Santa Fe residents reducing water consumption by more than 40 percent.
