ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The FBI says the man who robbed a bank in Albuquerque wearing a hat that said L.A., has been captured in phoenix.

U.S. Marshals caught 47-year-old James Verdream Monday and he’s expected to be returned here soon.

The feds say he’s the guy in the L.A. hat who robbed a branch of the Educators Federal Credit Union late last month.

He gave the teller a note demanding money, got it and left.

The FBI’s not saying how much he got and whether they got it back.
