Victim ID’d in fatal South Valley shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man shot and killed Saturday night in the South Valley.

Manuel Perea, 44, was found unresponsive at 842 Gatewood Southwest where it was reported gunshots were fired.

BCSO says they are looking for Jesse Luna, 35, who is the suspected shooter. He is described as 5-foot, 11-inches tall, with a shaved head, mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, BCSO says.

Luna is wanted for several felonies.
