NM Red Cross in Mississippi after tornadoes

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New Mexicans are joining the force to help clean up the damages left behind.

Some of New Mexico’s Red Cross are now in Mississippi where tornadoes ravaged neighborhoods leaving at least 12 people dead.

Overall, Red Cross workers are helping out in 13 state by providing food, health services and handing out cleaning supplies.

The New Mexico Red Cross will be there for a few weeks.
