Father of murdered teen hospitalized in Denver

DENVER, COLO. (KRQE) – Denver media outlets are reporting that the father of murdered teen Dylan Redwine was taken to a hospital overnight after he thought police were tracking him.

According to a Denver station, Mark Redwine called a reporter saying he thought Denver police had him surrounded.

Denver police confirmed Redwine was taken to an area hospital, after a welfare check.

Police say he was not taken into custody.

Dylan Redwine was visiting his father Mark for Thanksgiving 2012 when he disappeared.

Some of his remains were found last summer about a mile from Mark’s home.

Mark Redwine maintains he had nothing to do with his son’s disappearance and death, a case that is still unsolved.
