High pressure and dry westerly flow will continue to dominate our weather for Sunday. Temperatures will be 10° – 15° above average with much of the southeast sitting in the low to mid 90s. Winds will pick up some in northeastern New Mexico with gusts from 35-40 mph and that will elevate the fire danger. Warm temps stick around for Monday then the changes will begin by mid-week.
