Isotopes nip Salt Lake in 10

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – One run is the difference again as the Albuquerque Isotopes and Salt Lake Bees closed out a four game series with a split.

A Mike Baxter 9th inning home run tied the game at two for the Isotopes. Carlos Truinfel drove in the game winner the following inning as the Bees fell short trying to turn a double play.

The 3 to 2 ten inning victory lifted the Isotopes to 15 and 12 on the season.

They will begin a four game series at home against Fresno, starting Friday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
