Pancake Thomas picks Hartford

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Departing Lobo sophomore guard Cleveland “Pancake” Thomas has decided to transfer to the University of Hartford.

The Hawks are in the American East Conference. Thomas believes the change will help him reach his full potential as a basketball player.

He talked about his decision to go to Hartford on his twitter account saying, “Yes, I committed to Hartford. Yes I had bigger offers. But what’s about to happen y’all wont understand now but y’all will soon.”

Thomas averaged nearly four points and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Lobos this past season and started in 10 of 34 games. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
