City to host Child Abuse task force meeting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Mayor’s Office along with other city departments and the Child Abuse Prevention Task Force will host a public outreach session Thursday.

Thursday’s session will take place at the Taylor Ranch Community Center at 4900 Kachina northwest at 6:00 p.m.

Officials say the purpose of the meeting is to introduce members to the task force and hear from representatives of the NM Child Abuse Prevention Partnership, the Children’s Law Center and the NM Child Abuse and Neglect Citizen Review Board along with others.

The public is invited to attend Thursday’s meeting, officials say there are also future outreach events planned for the coming months.
