ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Federal regulators want to close part of a New Mexico power plant to ease pollution in the country.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency negotiated an agreement regarding the San Juan generating station with the governor’s administration and pnm.
New equipment was supposed to decrease pollution but the company argues that the equipment is too costly.
