ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The land that housed the old Beach Water Park, where many New Mexicans cooled off in the summer is finally up for sale years later.
The park off Interstate 25 and Montaño closed for good in 2005 after nearly two decades in business.
Everything was auctioned off a year later but the land has been sitting empty ever since.
Now, according to Albuquerque Business First the 23 acre lot is up for sale and could go for anywhere between $10 and $12 million.
One developer could use all of it or it could be sold in sections.
