John’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

Forecast

The winds continue today with gusts up to 60 mph for some parts of the state. Below average temperatures are also on tap for this afternoon. This is all thanks to the storm system that crossed the state over the weekend. Though the storm has departed, it is slowly leaving the state allowing a persistent northwesterly flow to dominate our weather.

Tuesday will feature less windy, but still breezy conditions. Temperatures will stay on the cool side. A final piece of energy will work through the state Thursday. This will deliver another quick round of showers and a final dose of high winds.

The northwesterly flow finally breaks down just in time for the weekend. Temperatures will warm to near or above average, winds will come down, and sunny skies will dominate!
