Chase ends with downtown crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Deputies were taken on a high-speed chase Sunday afternoon that ended in a crash injuring two people.

Just before 4 p.m., deputies tried to stop a vehicle, and the driver took off, police say. That vehicle ended up crashing into another vehicle and rolled at the intersection of Central and Locust, police say.

The driver and passenger were arrested, police say, and two people in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved in the chase was stolen, police say.
