Boy injured in fall released from hospital

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho boy who survived a 30-foot-fall off a cliff got to go home Friday.

Jacob Braunschweiger, 12, was released from UNM Hospital.

Jacob was hurt while hiking with family and friends in the Jemez last Tuesday.

He fell of a cliff and was unconscious.

A rescue team hiked to the area to save him.
