Water Authority votes against adding fluoride

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The city-county Water Authority Board voted Wednesday against adding fluoride to our water for now.

But the board pledged to consider it again when federal health agencies issue their final fluoride recommendations.

Fluoride occurs naturally in Albuquerque’s water system and the water authority stop adding it in 2011.
