NM arrested twice in 2 days for DWI

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – A Farmington man was arrested for DWI two days in a row.

On the evening of April 15th police pulled over 29-year-old Shawn Smith because his van didn’t have tail lights and he was swerving.

He was arrested for DWI.

Then the next evening he was arrested again in the same van after police say he ran a red light and hit another car.

Once again he was arrested for DWI.

Police say smith had a previous DWI arrest before these two.
