Suspect rams police car, flees on foot

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Two people have been arrested after police found a stolen vehicle in the Trumbull and Madeira area Tuesday.

According to APD, officers spotted the stolen vehicle at approximately 1 p.m. As officers attempted to make contact with the occupants of the stolen vehicle, the driver rammed the vehicle into an officer’s vehicle.

One person was arrested, but the driver of the vehicle got away on foot.

Police later located the suspect after setting up a perimeter. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

APD officials said that none of the officers involved suffered any injuries.
