SFCO investigates $87K jewelry theft


SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of $87,000 worth of jewelry.

The theft happened over the weekend at a home in the Tesuque area.

Thieves took off with several gold rings, a Rolex and Cartier watch.

Deputies say the thief got into the house through an unlocked window.

The owner says the theft happened sometime Saturday or just after midnight on Sunday.
