DOJ invites public to give input for APD reforms

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque and the Department of Justice have entered into negotiations to come up with an agreement on how to reform the Albuquerque Police Department.

It’s been more than a week since the DOJ issued its findings that APD has engaged in excessive and deadly force.

The DOJ would like the community to get involved in the process.

It will be holding a series of meetings where you can give them your input.
