Missing ABQ teen heads back to NM

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque teen who went missing more than two weeks ago is on her way back to New Mexico after being tracked down in Arkansas.

Police had issued an amber alert for 14-year-old Lacey DeWent.

The man she was with 26-year-old Robert Butler was arrested by U.S. Marshals Thursday.

According to authorities the two met online, then Butler drove from his home in New Jersey to pick Dewent up before heading to Arkansas.

U.S. Marshals office noticed a suspicious car outside a Target store.

The two had been camping in the rural parts of the state.
