A storm system is going to move in later on today and it could trigger some spot, dry storm activity in western New Mexico this evening.   All of us will see an increased shot for storms late Saturday morning into the afternoon.

If you get under a storm watch out for frequent lightning and strong, gusty winds.   The storm chances will linger for the first half of Easter Sunday before winding down some by the afternoon.

After Sunday, there’s a chance for a few isolated storms associated with a cold front Monday afternoon, but most areas will be dry Monday with mild temperatures.   Stay with KRQE News 13 for more weather updates.
