NM rep could be bumped from ballot

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A democratic lawmaker could be bumped off the ballot, as a voter challenges whether she has enough signatures to run in the primary June 3rd.

Larry King of Crownpoint is challenging whether Representative Sandra Jeff has enough valid signatures on her petition.

The case was previously thrown out, on the grounds that Jeff had not been served notice of the lawsuit but that ruling was overturned on appeal.

The case will be heard in district court in Gallup on Friday.

Jeff has two challengers in the District 5 Primary.
