John’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

The weather will be much quieter today after seeing some fresh snow across the north last night. Expect a warm and sunny afternoon with very little wind! Friday will be warmer, but the winds will return for the afternoon.

Spot showers will also develop Friday afternoon across the western high terrain as our next storm closes in. The best chance of showers across the state will come Saturday into early Sunday morning. As the storm departs, expect fewer storms in the afternoon with the higher terrain favored once again.

A warm southwesterly flow sets up for the start of next week. Afternoon highs in Albuquerque will soar to the upper 70s to near 80°. Winds will pick up for the start of next week as well. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
