APD accountability forum planned

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Thursday night, there is a community forum to hold the Albuquerque Police Department accountable and end police brutality.

It’s scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Albuquerque Mennonite Church at 1300 Girard, between Constitution and Indian School.

Organizers say they’re planning the next steps in their tactical plan to present to the City Council on Monday.

Tactics include recalling the mayor, grand jury petitions, non-violent civil disobediences, and putting pressure on the attorney general and DA to bring on indictments.
