ABQ woman charged after Pit bull attacks Chihuahua

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman is facing charges after she allegedly sicked her pit bull on a Chihuahua.

It happened Monday night at a home near Coors and Barcelona.

Deputies say Marie Trujillo spotted a neighbor’s Chihuahua on her property.

That’s when she allegedly opened the gate and released her 50-pound Pit Bull, allowing it to attack and kill the little dog.

The whole bloody attack was witnessed by the Chihuahua’s owners, a 9-year old boy and a 13-year old boy.

Trujillo is charged with extreme cruelty to animals.
