NM fugitive arrested in North Carolina

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Deputies in North Carolina have a New Mexico fugitive in custody.

Nathan Copage is wanted in Santa Fe for 2011 charges of sexual exploitation of children and child solicitation.

According to the warrant, Copage lost his phone when he was drunk in New Mexico. Someone gave the phone to Edgewood police after they found photos of girls under 10-years-old.

In 2011, police said he was not a flight risk.

Copage is being held at a detention center near Ashville, North Carolina without bond.
