Lunar eclipse to show ‘Blood Moon’

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – New Mexico residents should get ready for a sky show Monday night!

A total lunar eclipse, nicknamed a “blood moon,” is set to light up the sky.

When the moon is completely covered by earth, there’s a red glow.

If you want to catch a glimpse, the eclipse starts right before eleven Monday night.

The moon turns all red just after 1 a.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
