Lost hiker rescued in White Rock Canyon

LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) – A 15-year-old girl who was lost in White Rock Canyon is now with her family.

Los Alamos fire and police departments were involved in the search and rescue efforts Sunday.

She was lost near the Red Dot Trail which officials describe as steep and known for having loose rocks on the trail.

Los Alamos County says the girl had a minor injury. Her name has not been released.
