Human-caused fire burns in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters are responding to a human-caused wildfire that is threatening several structures in Georgetown east of Silver City.

Grant County and United States Forest Service crews are battling the blaze that’s burned more than four acres.

An air tanker will be used to help stop the fire from spreading.
