NM fire crews battle Bensen Fire

OTERO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters are battling a forest fire burning in Lincoln National Forest in southern New Mexico.

Fire officials say they do not know what sparked the fire that has already burned nearly 15 acres.

Firefighters and air support teams are working to extinguish the blaze.

At this time no structures are threatened and no evacuations have been ordered.
