Board to discuss adding fluoride to ABQ water

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Talk of adding fluoride to the water in Albuquerque again, has prompted a public meeting scheduled for Wednesday night.

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Board is considering the move to get the water to a fluoride level recommended by the federal government, but the proposal is controversial.

They stopped adding fluoride to the water back in 2011.

Wednesday’s public meeting is set for 5:30 at expo New Mexico.
