Police search for suspected rapist

GALLUP, N.M. (KRQE) – Authorities in Gallup are looking for a rape suspect who’s been on the run for two months.

Police said Jeremy Madrid broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home in early February and raped a 12-year-old girl.

He then fled the scene.

Police believe he’s driving a red 4-door Pontiac Grand Prix 2008 model with New Mexico license plate 163-RZT.

They also say he often attends biker functions and may be driving a yellow 1999 fat boy with flames painted on the tank.

He may be in the Grants or Albuquerque area.

If you have any information about Madrid, contact police.
