Runaway dog returned to NM training facility

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – It took time, patience and a lot of hard work but a dog that was missing for nearly three weeks has been found.

Princess Fiona is one of the dogs from a hoarding case out of Edgewood.

Back on March 20th, she jumped the fence of her adopted owner’s residence.

Santa Fe Tails hired a tracker from Colorado to help find her and it paid off when someone responded to a flier they had posted. They found Princess Fiona and had been taking care of her.

The dog is now at the Santa Fe Tails dog training with her buddy a dog named batman.

The two were removed from an Edgewood home last year and are available for adoption together.

The former owner, Debra Clopton, is facing dozens of animal cruelty charges.
