Speed a factor in deadly Parajito crash

PARAJITO, N.M. (KRQE) – Speed is also being blamed for a second crash Saturday that left a 51-year-old Albuquerque man dead.

Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies say Manual Martinez was speeding west on Parajito Road west of Coors Saturday night when he went off the road.

Deputies say Martinez over-corrected and struck a utility pole.

He was the only one in the vehicle and died at the scene.
